Training parents

The training is individual, as well as in courses.

The individual training is performed during the therapeutic procedure as the therapist (physiotherapist, logopedist, psychologist and special pedagogue) educates the parent as a co-therapist of his child.

The parent follows the chosen therapeutic program: medical and paramedical at home, as aids the work of the team of the Hospital and develops the psychomotor potential of the child. The educational programs in the earliest age are directed to the inform the child's parents for the normal psychomotor development, the specific problems of the children with cerebral palsy and the ways for their correction.

The following courses for parents' education are offered:

• Development of the child from 0 to 1 year.
• Development of the child from 1 to 3 year.
• Development of the child from 3 to 6 year.
• Educational difficulties in children with CP

The parents' training as co-therapists optimizes the opportunities of the complex medico-pedagogic rehabilitation, as well as the adaptation and socialization of the children with cerebral palsy.
