Special pedagogues (defectologists)

The Hospital has 2 special pedagogues, as 1 of them is a montesorry-therapist. They deal with development of sensomotorics by individual and group exercises with the special means of game-therapy of by specialized method for Montesorry-therapy with its special instruments.

The special pedagogues alone or together with the physiotherapist develop in the child cognition of the body scheme and its orientation in the environment. They also develop the concentration, attention, constructive thinking (volume, shape, weight, and color), the memory and other mental functions, collaborating closely with the psychologist and the treating physician of the child.

The consultations with the parents define their behavior to the child at home and define their tasks.
